FAQs

General Information

  • This experience is 100% virtual reality with the use of premium quality VR headsets. Our staff will properly fit you and train you how to use the headset prior to the start of your experience.

  • The virtual reality experience lasts 30 minutes. We recommend planning 45 minutes in total to account for check-in and check-out.

  • The immersive experience is available in four languages: English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin Chinese.

  • Yes. Parking is accessible from South Gardner Avenue directly in front of the entrance to the experience.

  • Phones are permitted in the venue, but we require they be put away and silenced on airplane mode during the experience for safety and to avoid disruption to others.

  • If you are prone to motion sickness or have vertigo, please consider whether a VR experience is right for you. The experience requires wearing a headset, which will immerse you in a 360-degree virtual environment, which may cause dizziness for some people, though this is rare. Our team is always on hand to assist if needed.

  • Refreshments will be available before or after the experience in our lounge area.

  • There are no lockers or cloakroom available. Please plan your visit accordingly.

Tickets & Booking

  • Multiple people may book at the same time, based on availability. However, we ask that you split into groups of 10 or fewer upon arrival, as that is the maximum number of people who can interact together during the experience.

  • Our online ticketing opens slots 2 months in advance. You can book any available slot within that period.

  • Tickets are non-modifiable, as stated in our Terms and Conditions. Please use care in picking a day and time that suits your schedule best. While we will do our best to accommodate emergencies, we reserve the right to refuse changes.

  • No, we can scan your ticket directly from your phone. However, printing it may be useful if you prefer a paper copy with your entry information.

  • Yes, subject to availability, you can purchase tickets on-site for the same day or a future date directly at the venue. However, we recommend booking online in advance to guarantee availability.

  • Tickets are non-refundable. Please use care when choosing a date and time for your visit.

  • Yes, you can give your ticket to someone else. However, if it is a reduced-price ticket, the person will need to present valid proof of eligibility or pay the price difference at the entrance.

  • If you're running late, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you. Because the experience is timed, and only so many positions are available per timeslot, we cannot guarantee availability upon late arrival.

Accessibility & Entry Conditions

  • The experience is for patrons 8 and older. No exceptions. Children remain under the full responsibility of a guardian. If a child needs to leave during the experience, a responsible adult must remain with them. Due to the timed nature of the experience, if a patron leaves the experience, we will not be able to re-admint them to the cell.

  • The venue is fully wheelchair accessible. We accept wheelchairs in the cell, but, for safety of others, they must remain stationary throughout the duration of the experience. Canes are not permitted in the experience. However, we can provide a comfortable chair for anyone requiring a cane to walk. The experience can be enjoyed from a stationary position, although some aspects will be limited.

  • Immersive VR experiences are not suitable for people with heart conditions or epilepsy. If you have any medical condition, please consult your physician before planning to visit or purchasing a ticket to the experience.

  • Yes, the headset can accommodate most corrective glasses, and our team will help you adjust the focus for your comfort. We do not recommend wearing progressive lenses in the experience, because the headset focus is adjustable.

  • Due to the “free-roam” nature of the experience, the content cannot be subtitled.

  • Yes. The headset uses external speakers positioned above the ears. The volume can be adjusted for optimal comfort.

  • No, wearing a VR headset is incompatible with carrying a baby or pushing a stroller. For your safety, and the safety of others, strollers are not permitted within the experience area.

  • Canes are not permitted within the experience. We recommend using a wheelchair instead, as other participants will not be able to see your cane in the VR space, which could cause accidents.

  • Yes! For visitors requiring physical assistance, we recommend coming with a companion or using a wheelchair to ensure safety throughout the experience. For safety of others, companions providing physical assistance to another may not be permitted to participate in the experience, while assisting, at the venue’s sole discretion.

  • We do not provide wheelchairs on-site. Please make accommodations for wheelchairs prior to your arrival. Our facility is wheelchair accessible.
